Robert Kennedy said it best: "The future is not a gift. It's an achievement." And no one understands better than I the magnitude of the challenges that lie ahead.

Now is the time for leadership that takes on the county's toughest challenges by making the necessary decisions.

I run on my record. It's a record of making tough decisions, demanding efficiency and performance on behalf of the people of Kauai; and of promoting changes that were long overdue.

That's what I've done, and that's what I will continue to do as your County Councilmember. Ultimately, our success will be measured by the quality of life we provide for all our people and our stewardship of the environment.
